Gulf Bank hails Successful Sponsorship of the Green Caravan Film Festival

Kuwait, November 8, 2010: Gulf Bank has concluded its sponsorship of the second season for the Green Caravan Film Festival (GCFF) which was held at various venues in Kuwait during the past week. The festival included a selection of films from the region and worldwide which highlighted the importance of environmental issues such as marine conservation, waste and pollution and climate change.

The Green Caravan is the first film festival of its kind in Kuwait and one of a small handful of film festivals worldwide dedicated solely to shed light on important environmental issues. This year?s festival is back for its second season with a larger number of films to appeal to a wider audience. The Green Caravan initiative is a mobile series of events that ties together the arts, culture and the environment in a way that is both enriching and educational.
