Al Noor & Amal Students Discover the World of Banking

Kuwait, 18 April, 2008 - Students from the Al Noor & Amal School for Special Needs recently toured Gulf Bank’s Hawally branch as an extension of their studies on banking.

The branch staff hosted the tour for a group of 17 members comprising 13 students and 4 teachers. They were taught the essentials of day-to-day banking, corporate products and services that Gulf Bank offers to its customers.

“Events such as these are a great part of Gulf Bank’s ongoing social responsibility program to support members of the Kuwaiti society and especially our commitment to our youth,” said Fawzy Althunayan, Gulf Bank’s General Manager of Board Affairs.

"Gulf Bank is a major supporter of the advancement of education among Kuwait’s youth and takes its corporate social responsibility seriously while believing in the core values of Kuwait’s society along with the corporation’s policies and visions that are aligned with the needs of the society”.

Among Gulf Bank’s many causes are the National Union of Kuwaiti Students (NUKS), Injaz’s business educational programs, Special Education School events and the Bank’s support of Kuwaiti students through its summer internship programs.
