Gulf Bank Welcomes Al Rajaa Special Needs School
Kuwait 3 June 2008: Gulf Bank shows its commitment in aiding the advancement of knowledge and education of Kuwait’s youth through its enduring support towards the Al Rajaa School for Boys.
The Al Rajaa School for Boys is one of the many special education schools dedicated to the instruction of special needs children in Kuwait. It focuses mainly on children with physical disabilities through birth defects, diseases, and severe car accidents. The School provides the children with educational services, physical therapy and rehabilitation, and social - psychological therapy. Gulf Bank is committed to supporting the Al Rajaa School for Boys and the entire Special Education Schools in their dedication towards the education and development of their students.

“Gulf Bank is an active corporate supporter of educational, medical, artistic and sporting initiatives in the community. This is part of the continuing support for Kuwait’s youth and their development and enables the Bank to give back to the community,” added Althunayan.
Gulf Bank is committed towards focusing on its CSR initiatives. The development of skills and human resources is one of the many contributions that the Bank provides to the local community. Gulf Bank is determined to take part in helping future generations of Kuwaitis achieve their full potential.
The Bank has also recently given students from the Al Noor & Amal School for the Blind and Deaf the opportunity to tour Gulf Bank’s Hawalli branch, as part of their learning process about banking and other related services. In addition to that, Gulf Bank was an active supporter of a number of educational activities organized by the Schools for Special Education in Kuwait. During Ramadan, the Bank extends its support by presenting Girgi’an gift bags to children in hospitals.
