Gulf Bank’s Blood Donation Day attracts enthusiastic donor response
Kuwait , August 12, 2010 : Gulf Bank held a Blood Donation Day at the Head Office Branch in Mubarak Al Kabeer Street on Thursday, 5th August, 2010 , which was open to all customers, staff and walk-in visitors.
The specially equipped medical clinic was set up in the branch by the Central Blood Bank from 8.30am through to 12.30pm, and everyone not only donated blood, but was also given the opportunity to undergo some basic health checks including BMI & Blood Pressure as well as donating blood.
The open day stems from the recently concluded “Blood Donation Road Show” which ran for a period of 9 months and covered all Gulf Bank’s branches.
In partnership with the Central Blood Bank, Gulf bank is always encouraging all healthy citizens and residents in Kuwait to donate to this vital cause, whenever they can. Setting up in- house branch clinics makes it easier for donors to donate blood, which was evidenced by the excellent support received from the community during the campaign.
