Gulf Bank ‘Platinum Sponsor’ of Kuwait’s Financial Forum
Kuwait – 25 September, 2011: Gulf Bank today announced that it is a Platinum sponsor of Kuwait’s 3rd Financial Forum, which will take place from 31 October to 1 November 2011 in Kuwait, under the patronage of the Prime Minister H.H. Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The Financial Forum is organized by the Iktissad Wal Amal Group in cooperation with the Central Bank of Kuwait and the Kuwait Banking Association.
This year, the Financial Forum will include topics such as getting ready for the next financial phase from the perspective of Central Banks, identifying issues and main trends in the Arab economies in the period of political transformation, global economic prospects, the Arab Banking Industry in the face of political upheaval in the region, regaining equilibrium in Arab financial markets and prospects and future trends in world financial markets.
The Forum builds on the success of the first Financial Forum held in 2009, and is expected to attract prominent figures in the finance and banking industry, Arab Finance Ministers from across the region, Central Bank Governors, renowned economists, bankers, and executive managers and most banks and financial institutions in the Arab world.
