Gulf Bank Accepts Prestigious 2012 ‘Best Creativity’ Award from Pan Arab Web Awards
Kuwait- 21 February, 2012: Gulf Bank has been awarded the coveted ‘Best Creativity’ award at the 3rd Annual Banking Web Awards Competition, which took place at the Intercontinental Phoenicia Hotel, Beirut, Lebanon on the 18th of February. The award was received by Rasha Ezzeddine, Senior Manager, on behalf of Gulf Bank.
Aly Shalaby, General Manager, Consumer Banking Group at Gulf Bank said: “We are honored to have been granted this award, which further highlights our efforts in continuing to enhance and update our website by providing effective ways to ensure up-to-date online and web based banking services to support our customers’ banking needs.”
The Annual Banking Web Awards Competition is to determine the merit and promotion of a bank and financial institution’s websites. The aim of the competition is to encourage development amongst banks throughout the Arab region in the areas of web design, website creativity and web development. This development seeks to assist in the growth of a nascent e-banking environment, accessible to everyone twenty four hours a day. The overall long term objective to the Web Awards is to generate a more global proactive banking community that further encourages communication and interaction in the banking and financial sectors.
