Rally driving occupies a unique place in the motorsport world. It's fast, furious and often seems barely in control. Well, find out for yourself behind the wheel of a specially-prepared rally car. Discover the secrets of power slides, handbrake turns and skid cause and control on loose surface or tarmac rally stages - handy for the next time you're trying to find the ski lodge in a hire car. Your experience includes tuition and rally driving around a specially-prepared rally stage. At some venues you'll also be chauffeured around a stage by your instructor at competition speeds, just to show you how it's done. The itinerary and the make of car you drive will vary from venue to venue, from a range, which includes the Peugeot 206, the ever-popular Fords (Escort MkII, Fiesta, Focus, Sierra or Puma) or the VW Polo.

Participant Guidelines: Some venues have height and weight restrictions, please check in advance. You need a full current manual driving license (bring it with you).

Weather: Driving may be canceled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions which would make driving at speed dangerous. In the event of a cancellation, you can choose from the alternate experiences provided by red.

Duration: Duration varies from venue to venue. As a guide, you'll be at the venue for between an hour and a half to around four hours, including a briefing, tuition, driving time and debrief.

Spectators: Spectators are welcome and will be able to watch varying amounts of the experience, depending on the location. Facilities vary from venue to venue.

Dress Code: Wear flat shoes, which are comfortable for driving (chunky boots or trainers aren't recommended). Helmets will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.

Availability: Selected weekdays and weekends throughout the year. Weekend dates are always busy - confirm at least six weeks in advance.
