Gulf Bank reveals Al Danah is now “bigger”! Starting this year, the grand prize for the Al Danah account is a grand KD 1,500,000

Kuwait, 18 January 2020: After a week-long celebration event at The Avenues, Gulf Bank revealed the name of the lucky Al Danah Millionaire for the year 2019: Mr. Jassim Mohammed Issa Abbas.

Gulf Bank’s annual Al Danah draw event, titled “Al Danah Is Here,” kicked off earlier this week on Sunday at The Avenues near the Cheesecake Factory. The week-long celebration included a variety of exciting activities and prizes, including a Luster Wall in which attendees could take a selfie or picture to post on their social media channels with the hashtag #هنا_الدانة. Upon posting, their images appeared as part of a larger mosaic that spelled out a hidden message whose meaning was unveiled on Thursday night: Al Danah is Bigger!

A Week-Long Celebration

Throughout the week, Gulf Bank’s stage area at The Avenues hosted a variety of entertainment activities, giving mall-goers multiple options to choose from and compete for the chance to win valuable cash prizes. Everyone was welcome to participate, and choose from activities that include a Pin & Win map, a Luster Wall, an arcade claw game, vending machine, and more.

Competitive Games On Stage

Thursday’s draw took place on stage in the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Ernst & Young, Ossama Fouda and Ahmad Al-Matari, an employee at Gulf Bank. Ossama Fouda led participants through a variety of exciting activities on stage on Thursday, with a competitive twist. Participants tried their luck against others at the safe combination game, in which they had to find the correct safe combination in the fastest amount of time. Participants also got a chance to play the darts money collector and collect cash prizes — the closer to the bullseye, the more valuable the prize! Finally, participants also tried their luck at a variety of digital gaming competitions, competing with others for the chance to take home cash prizes. On Thursday evening, after the reveal of Al Danah Millionaire, attendees were also treated to a live musical performance from Abdulaziz Al-Dhuwaihi.

Al Danah Is Bigger!

In an exciting reveal at the draw event, Gulf Bank also announced the Al Danah account’s grand prize now bigger than ever before. Starting in 2020, the grand prize for the Al Danah account is now a whopping 1.5 Million Kuwaiti Dinars, becoming one of the biggest prizes associated with a bank account worldwide. The “bigger” grand prize is one of multiple benefits enjoyed by Al Danah accountholders, as it is the only account in Kuwait that rewards accountholders for their loyalty with loyalty chances. Loyalty chances are the total chances accumulated from the previous year, which are added to the customer’s chances the following year. About the Al Danah Account

Gulf Bank’s Al Danah account is open to Kuwaiti and non-Kuwaiti residents of Kuwait. Customers require a minimum of KD200 to open an account and the same amount should be maintained for customers to be eligible for the upcoming Al Danah draws. If the customer’s account balance falls below KD200 at any given time, a KD2 fee will be charged to their account monthly until the minimum balance is met. Customers who open an account and/or deposit more will enter the weekly draw within two days. To take part in the Al Danah 2020 upcoming weekly, quarterly and yearly draws, customers must meet the required hold period for each draw.

Al Danah offers a number of unique services to customers, including the Al Danah Deposit Only ATM card, which allows account holders to deposit money into their accounts at their convenience.
