As part of Gulf Bank’s commitment to developing job opportunities in the Kuwaiti market

Kuwait, 16 February 2020: Gulf Bank wrapped up the 2020 edition of the Public Authority of Manpower Career Fair. The event, titled “لأنك تستاهل” (Because You Deserve It), took place last week at the Public Authority of Manpower and marked the third consecutive year that Gulf Bank sponsors the fair as part of its commitment to offering employment opportunities to local youth.

Gulf Bank’s Human Resources team met with multiple ambitious young men and women who wished to join the banking sector. During the course of the event, Gulf Bank employees described the nature of work at Gulf Bank, and took applicants through the variety of opportunities available. The team also held on-the-spot interviews at the career fair, and even provided qualified candidates with immediate contracts.

As a platinum sponsor of the event, Gulf Bank’s participation reflected its ongoing commitment to Kuwait Vision 2035 “New Kuwait,” the national development plan that was developed by His Highness the Emir of Kuwait, Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. Gulf Bank’s sponsorship of the career fair is also part of the Bank’s corporate social responsibility initiatives, encompassing both social and economic sustainability. By working to support and empower Kuwaiti youth, Gulf Bank is working in line with “New Kuwait,” which prioritizes the development of the private sector and the national economy overall.
