  • Salma Al-Hajjaj: Training and developing the youth is one of the major focus areas in Gulf Bank’s strategy, and we are eager to support and guide them towards becoming future leaders.

As part of its continuous endeavors to attract the best talent from the national cadres and the youth, Gulf Bank participated in the three-day ‘Watheefti’ career fair that was organized by Zone Human Resources, at 360 Mall Arena. Considered as Kuwait’s largest career fair, the event witnessed the participation of more than eighty private sector companies in Kuwait.

Throughout the exhibition, Gulf Bank representatives highlighted the nature of the work at the Bank and provided job seekers with detailed explanations about the career development opportunities available for employees.

Gulf Bank’s stand at the exhibition received a big turnout of graduates looking to learn more about the departments, environment, and job opportunities available at the Bank. The graduates were driven by Gulf Bank’s good reputation of being one of the most prominent employers of young people in Kuwait.

As part of its strategy to instill the principles of sustainability in society, Gulf Bank participated in the career fair with a pavilion made of environmentally friendly materials, and encouraged online, paperless applications. The Bank’s representatives also gave the applicants agricultural seedlings in exchange for their resume, which is meant to help preserve the environment and raise awareness on the importance of afforestation.

On this occasion, General Manager of Human Resources at Gulf Bank, Salma Al-Hajjaj said: "At Gulf Bank, we believe that our employees are the basis of our success and the secret of our excellence. Therefore, we are always updating our work mechanisms and systems, to raise career levels, and to maintain our position as the preferred employer for both job seekers and employees."
