As Part of Its Support for Youth and the "Diraya" campaign

As part of its efforts to promote community sustainability standards and its continuous support for youth, Gulf Bank welcomed a group of students from the Center for Child Evaluation and Teaching to learn about the bank’s services, the importance of saving, and the risks of online fraud.

The visit included an introductory tour inside the bank, where the students received a detailed explanation of how bank accounts work, as well as deposit and withdrawal services. They were also introduced to modern digital products such as mobile applications and online banking services. Additionally, the students learned how to carry out bank transfers securely.

Gulf bank employees highlighted the many benefits the bank offers to encourage various segments of society to save and invest, including the advantages of the red account and the red plus prepaid card. The students were also invited to participate in the Gulf Bank 642 Marathon, the first and only globally accredited marathon in Kuwait.

In support of the "Diraya" campaign , the bank made sure to inform students about Gulf Bank’s significant role in supporting the initiative launched by the Central Bank of Kuwait in cooperation with the Kuwait Banking Association. The campaign aims to educate bank customers about the key banking services available to them, enhance their ability to complete transactions safely, ensure secure operations, and promote financial inclusion as well as monetary and economic stability. It also focuses on raising awareness of customer rights and responsibilities, the benefits of electronic financial transactions, ways to avoid related risks, and the importance of cybersecurity.

For their part, the students expressed their happiness with the experience, affirming that the visit was a valuable opportunity to understand how to manage their money better and to learn about modern financial services.
