Gulf Bank Distributes Ramadan Food Packages to Underprivileged Families
In cooperation with the Kuwait Food Bank, as part of the “Our Traditions Always Bring Us Together” campaign
As part of the qualitative activities and initiatives it organizes during the Holy Month of Ramadan, and within the framework of its “Our Traditions Always Bring Us Together” campaign, Gulf Bank distributed Ramadan food packages to families in need and underprivileged households, in cooperation with the Kuwait Food Bank.
As part of its annual tradition, Gulf Bank is keen to organize a wide range of activities and initiatives during the Holy Month of Ramadan, reflecting its leading role in promoting sustainability within the community. At the forefront of these initiatives is the distribution of Ramadan food packages, carried out in cooperation with the Kuwait Food Bank, to support families facing difficult living conditions.
Through this initiative, Gulf Bank aims to ease some of the financial burdens on underprivileged families, particularly in light of rising living costs. The food packages contain a variety of essential food items sufficient to meet their needs for several days.
The Ramadan food package initiative is one of the key charitable activities organized by Gulf Bank during the Holy Month, reflecting the Bank’s deep-rooted engagement with the community for more than six decades, during which it has remained an integral part of Kuwait’s economic and social development.
It is worth noting that Gulf Bank’s “Our Traditions Always Bring Us Together” campaign includes the distribution of Ramadan food packages over four days, in cooperation with the Kuwait Food Bank. The campaign also features participation in the “Joy Land” initiative, during which household supplies and Eid clothing were distributed to families, in addition to the Ramadan packages. The Bank also presented food packages to visitors of Lulu Hypermarket and Al-Zahra Cooperative Society.
These initiatives reflect Gulf Bank’s strong commitment to community sustainability programs at the social, economic, and environmental levels. They form part of a carefully selected portfolio of initiatives designed to benefit both the Bank and society, in line with its five-year strategic plan, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and Kuwait Vision 2035.
