Gulf Bank Honors University Winners of the 2026 “Company Program” Competition

As part of its ongoing partnership with INJAZ Kuwait

Dari Al-Bader: We congratulate the winners and wish them success in representing Kuwait at the INJAZ regional competition

As part of its continued support for youth, Gulf Bank honored the winners of the “Best Student Company of the Year 2026” award in the university category, during the winners’ recognition ceremony organized by INJAZ Kuwait at Kuwait Technical College (Ktech). The event was attended by a number of sponsoring entities and companies, students, parents, volunteers, and school teachers.

On this occasion, Mr. Dari Al-Rashid Al-Bader, General Manager of Corporate Affairs at Gulf Bank and Board Member of INJAZ Kuwait, said: “Just a few days after honoring the winning teams from the high school category, we are pleased today to share the joy of the university students as they win the Best Student Company of the Year 2026 award. We wish the winning teams from both categories success in representing the State of Kuwait at the upcoming regional competition in Cairo.”

He added: “At Gulf Bank, we are proud of our continued partnership with INJAZ Kuwait, which extends over more than 20 years and has witnessed the adoption and support of many youth-led ideas and companies, some of which have become part of Kuwait’s business and economic landscape today.”

Al-Bader emphasized Gulf Bank’s commitment to supporting youth as part of its dedication to encouraging and developing their professional skills, enabling them to keep pace with the evolving requirements of the local and global labor markets. This comes within Gulf Bank’s strategy, which places youth at the heart of its priorities, and in line with Kuwait Vision 2035, which highlights the importance of investing in youth, as well as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

He noted that the “Company Program” competition enjoys strong popularity among ambitious young people, as it provides them with an exceptional hands-on experience in establishing and managing a real company, with the support and sponsorship of leading institutions, foremost among them Gulf Bank.

In a related context, Gulf Bank volunteers have played a prominent role in supporting young participants across INJAZ Kuwait’s various programs this year, contributing significantly to career guidance programs, engaging with student groups, and mentoring them.

The Company Program provides high school and university students with entrepreneurial skills, teaching them how to establish business ventures while equipping them with leadership, management, and financial literacy skills. Students are given the opportunity to establish and manage a student company, going through the full stages of launching a new business, starting with developing a business plan, conducting feasibility studies, building a team, and raising capital, leading up to creating and selling a product or service. The program concludes with an annual local competition to evaluate the student companies.
