Gulf Bank Contributes USD 3 Million to the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund
Reaffirming its national responsibility and commitment to supporting strategic national initiatives
Gulf Bank announced a financial contribution of USD 3 million to the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund, administered by the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED), in support of national efforts to enhance the country's preparedness to respond to emergencies and exceptional circumstances.
This initiative embodies Gulf Bank's deep sense of national responsibility and its commitment to supporting initiatives that strengthen the country's ability to address evolving challenges and exceptional circumstances with efficiency and resilience. It also reinforces the Bank's support for Kuwait Vision 2035 and its objectives of building a sustainable economy and a more prepared and resilient society, in line with Gulf Bank's role as a key partner in Kuwait's comprehensive development.
Gulf Bank affirmed that the contribution reflects its belief in the importance of coordinating efforts between the public and private sectors. KFAED's Board of Directors allocated USD 100 million as a founding contribution to the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund. Established pursuant to a resolution of the Council of Ministers, the Fund is intended to finance and support national initiatives that strengthen the country's preparedness to meet emergency requirements and ensure the continuity of essential services under all circumstances.
