Gulf Bank has deposited a KD1 million prize into the account of Ahmed Ibrahim Mahmoud Khatib, the winner of the AlDanah Millionaire Account semi-annual draw, the bank said on Sunday.
The draw was held last week under the supervision of international audit firms RSM and Grant Thornton and was broadcast live on Gulf Bank’s social media channels and 360 FM.
Khatib is the 26th millionaire named since the launch of the AlDanah draws. He was received at Gulf Bank’s Private Banking branch in Crystal Tower by Chief Marketing Officer Najla Aleisa, Deputy General Manager of Wealth Management Abdulrahman AlKhubaizi and other senior bank officials.
Following the completion of the prize-deposit procedures, Khatib said the award marked the culmination of a 10-year savings journey with Gulf Bank.
He said he had remained hopeful of winning since opening his account a decade ago and received the news while spending his summer holiday with his family in Jordan.
Khatib said the AlDanah Account had been his primary destination for funds he was able to set aside since moving to Kuwait for work. He encouraged customers to make saving a regular part of their financial planning.
He added that the prize could help him meet the capital requirements for a business venture he has long planned to establish in Kuwait.
“Ahmed Khatib’s journey reflects a decade of commitment, patience and disciplined saving, culminating in a life-changing moment,” Gulf Bank said.
Upcoming AlDanah Draws
“We congratulate Ahmed Khatib on becoming the 26th millionaire in the history of the AlDanah draws,” Aleisa said.
“Gulf Bank remains committed to delivering a distinctive banking experience while supporting a strong culture of saving and rewarding customers for their long-term financial commitment.”
Aleisa said the AlDanah prize programme would continue to offer customers further opportunities to win.
“The next KD200,000 draw is scheduled for September 9, while the KD1.5 million grand-prize draw will take place on February 10, 2027,” she said.
“The final date to deposit and qualify for the grand-prize draw is September 30, 2026.”
Wealth-Management Services
AlKhubaizi said Gulf Bank provides high-net-worth clients with specialised services designed for customers seeking a more tailored banking experience.
“Our offering combines high-quality banking products and services with specialised investment guidance and advisory solutions aligned with each client’s financial objectives,” he said.
The AlDanah Millionaire Account is available to Kuwaiti citizens and residents. Customers can open an account through Gulf Bank’s branches or mobile application with a minimum deposit of KD200.
Maintaining the minimum balance qualifies customers to enter upcoming AlDanah draws, subject to the programme’s terms and conditions.
Gulf Bank said customers can increase their chances of winning by increasing the balances maintained in their AlDanah accounts. Deposits can be made through the bank’s website, mobile banking application or other available banking channels.
