Gulf Bank Reinforces Its Commitment to Youth Empowerment at the INJAZ Internship Fair 2026
Celebrating More Than Two Decades of Partnership with INJAZ Kuwait to Advance Youth Employability, Entrepreneurship, and Financial Literacy
Reinforcing its long-standing commitment to empowering Kuwaiti youth and investing in the next generation of national talent, Gulf Bank participated in the INJAZ Internship Fair 2026, held from July 21 to 23 at the Symphony Style Hotel in Salmiya. The annual event brought together leading banks and companies from across Kuwait to connect university students with internship opportunities and support their career development.
The Bank’s participation reflects its broader strategy of equipping young people with the practical skills, professional experience, and financial knowledge needed to succeed in today’s evolving economy. This commitment aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, through meaningful collaboration between the private sector and educational institutions.
During the fair, Gulf Bank’s Human Resources team introduced students to the Bank’s internship program, highlighting opportunities to gain hands-on experience at one of Kuwait’s leading financial institutions. The team also showcased the Bank’s innovative banking solutions and exclusive offers designed to support students throughout their academic journey and beyond.
The Bank’s booth attracted strong interest from university students seeking internship opportunities and career guidance. It provided them with valuable insights into the banking industry while helping strengthen their readiness to transition confidently into the workforce.
Visitors also had the opportunity to explore Gulf Bank’s award-winning youth banking proposition, led by the red Account and red Plus Prepaid Card, which provide young customers with flexible, rewarding, and digitally enabled banking solutions tailored to their lifestyles. The Bank also highlighted the recently launched “red’y to impress” campaign, alongside the Gulf Points loyalty program, which offers exclusive rewards, lifestyle benefits, and value-added experiences designed specifically for Generation Z.
As part of its commitment to promoting financial literacy and responsible banking, Gulf Bank dedicated a section of its booth to raising awareness of financial fraud and cybersecurity. Visitors received practical guidance on protecting their banking information and safeguarding themselves against fraud, supporting the Bank’s continued participation in the national “Let’s Be Aware” campaign.
Gulf Bank’s leadership in youth banking was recently recognized at the Asian Banking & Finance Retail Banking Awards 2026, where the Bank received the Gen Z Product of the Year Award for its innovative youth proposition, particularly the red Account and red Plus Prepaid Card. The award reflects the Bank’s continued focus on developing customer-centric financial solutions that empower young people and promote financial inclusion.
The Bank also reaffirmed its strategic partnership with INJAZ Kuwait, which spans more than two decades. Throughout this partnership, Gulf Bank has supported numerous initiatives focused on internships, entrepreneurship, financial education, and career readiness, contributing to the development of a highly skilled and future-ready generation capable of driving Kuwait’s sustainable economic growth.
By continuing to invest in youth development, employability, and financial capability, Gulf Bank remains committed to creating lasting value for society while supporting Kuwait’s vision of building a knowledge-based economy powered by empowered, innovative, and financially confident young leaders. --End - -
