Gulf Bank Reopens Jahra Cooperative Society Branch with a Modern Design Focused on Customer Experience
Renovated branch combines digital innovation, sustainable design, and greater convenience for customers.
Gulf Bank has reopened its Jahra Cooperative Society branch following a comprehensive renovation, reinforcing its commitment to delivering a faster, more convenient, and digitally enabled banking experience while advancing its sustainability agenda.
The renovated branch is part of Gulf Bank’s ongoing branch transformation program under its 2030 Strategy, which places customer experience at the center of its business priorities. The initiative also supports Kuwait Vision 2035 by promoting sustainable development and reducing environmental impact.
Designed in line with the latest international banking standards, the upgraded branch offers a modern, customer-centric environment equipped with advanced technologies that simplify everyday banking. Among its key features is a 24/7 Interactive Teller Machine (ITM), allowing customers to complete a wide range of banking transactions at any time with greater speed and convenience.
As part of the renovation, Gulf Bank incorporated several sustainable building features, including expanded indoor and outdoor green spaces, enhanced use of natural daylight, smart energy management systems with motion sensors, and an electric vehicle charging station.
Commenting on the reopening, Basel AlAssad, Deputy General Manager of Consumer Banking at Gulf Bank, said:“At Gulf Bank, enhancing the customer experience extends beyond digital channels. It includes creating modern branch environments that make banking faster, easier, and more convenient while supporting our long-term sustainability objectives. The reopening of our Jahra Cooperative Society branch reflects our commitment to delivering a seamless banking experience, whether customers choose to visit a branch or bank digitally.”
He added that Gulf Bank continues to invest in its digital capabilities alongside its branch network, offering one of Kuwait’s fastest and most user-friendly mobile banking applications, as well as continuous enhancements to its Contact Center and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. These investments give customers greater flexibility to choose how, when, and where they manage their banking needs.
The reopening marks another milestone in Gulf Bank’s ongoing transformation of its branch network, bringing together digital innovation, sustainable design, and customer-focused services that support the Bank’s vision of becoming Kuwait’s leading bank in innovation and sustainability.
Earlier this year, Gulf Bank received the Branch Innovation Award – Kuwait at the Asian Banking & Finance Retail Banking Awards 2026, recognizing its continued efforts to modernize its branch network through sustainable design and advanced digital technologies that address the evolving needs of customers.
