As part of its ongoing efforts to empower young talent, develop national leaders, and provide them with opportunities to assume senior leadership positions, Gulf Bank has announced the appointment of Mr. Hamed Al-Tamimi as Chief Human Resources Officer. The appointment recognizes his distinguished career spanning more than 19 years at the Bank, during which he held various roles across Retail Banking, Operations, and Human Resources, most recently serving as Acting Chief Human Resources Officer.

Al-Tamimi possesses extensive experience across several areas of human resources, including compensation and benefits, HR business partnering, workforce planning, and talent acquisition. He also established the Bank’s HR Analytics Department. Throughout his career, he has played pivotal roles in advancing the Bank’s human resources strategy, strengthening organizational capabilities, and supporting the achievement of its long-term vision and strategic objectives.

Regarding his academic and professional qualifications, Al-Tamimi holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, in addition to several professional certifications from leading international universities and institutions in data analytics, operational excellence, compliance, and specialized skills development.

The Bank stated that Mr. Hamed Al-Tamimi’s promotion to Chief Human Resources Officer reflects its confidence in his capabilities and experience.
