We would like to clarify that Standard and Poor (S&P)  has issued a credit opinion on Gulf Bank on 26th May 2014 which did not contain any changes to the Bank’s credit ratings. The positive outlook on the bank reflects Standard and Poor’s view that the bank's credit risk profile or business position may further improve over the next 18-24 months without impairing the bank's strong capitalization.  The positive action over the next 18-24 months would likely hinge on an improved risk profile.
