Al Danah is a non-interest account, which gives customers the chance to enter draws that will be held across the year.

Minimum KD200 is required to open an Al Danah account.
Minimum account balance of KD200 is required to enter the draw and to accrue chances (for all draw types).
The draws are conducted in the presence of a representative of the Ministry of Commerce. The Kuwait Ministry of Commerce supervises the process. All accounts that meet the eligibility are entered in the program, which randomly and electronically selects the winner after assigning respective chance values.

The alternate winner will be selected if the winner’s Al Danah account is closed and any of the winner’s accounts with the Bank has a hold for legal reasons.
Customers must open their account by the account open date (last date to deposit) in order to qualify for each specified draw.
In order to be eligible for a draw, the minimum balance of KD200 or above must be maintained until each draw date.
The number of weekly winners will not be reduced based on the number of holidays for the week, there will be 5 winners weekly despite of any holidays.
No weekly winner of the KD1,000 will win two prizes of KD1,000 in the same week.
Employees of Gulf Bank, employees of service providers and persons involved with promoting, marketing and/or carrying out any activity related to the draw and/or the prize, their spouses, their relatives up to the second-degree and any other person or entity excluded in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry are not allowed to participate in the draw. Any winner in violation of this prohibition is under the obligation to immediately return the prize to Gulf Bank, which shall be cancelled. Gulf Bank shall have the right to deduct the amount directly from the account(s) of such winner without obtaining an approval.
